On Sunday I spent a good part of the day working hard on my computer and my network. I managed to reorganize my backups at home today. Using Microsoft’s sync toy I have now backed up my local pc profile to my server. I will be doing the same thing for Kelli’s pc before I go back to bed today.

I have made changes again to my the-techshop web site. I have reorganized the links section and added several links. I am about to reorganize the contact page and the add a contact form to the site hopefully sometime tomorrow but before the end of the week if I do not have time.

I will be making some changes to this site in the next week adding links to all my social network sites and a whats new link.

If I have time over the next week I will also be making some changes to the cairns-clan site. Stay tuned for these.

On the Internet I finally broke 1500 followers on Twitter:) This is one of the social networking sites which I use most. I also took a good part of today and cleaned out a lot of my Twitter list which took a couple of hours. Now that is done I am all set to go.

Since I already run a web site for the Cairns side of the family I thought I should run one for the Janhevich side as well. The following is an excert from an email I sent out today. Now I have big work to do to get a site online but that is ok because I enjoy doing them:

Well the Announcement in the last couple of weeks I quietly registered the Internet domain Janhevich.com
As some of you may know I host a web site called cairns-clan.com which is the family history on my Dad’s side of the family. I was in the midst of be
playing with the site a bit and thought it would be nice to do something for my other side of the family.

A couple of things to kick this off. If anyone would like an email address yourname@janhevich.com please let me know and I would be more than happy to create on for you. I can forward the email account to your current account if you like, send you the instructions to setup the desktop client of your choice(outlook, thunderbird etc) or even give you instructions on how to check it using your web browser and the web site.

Secondly I am going to start building the site this week. One thing I will probably start it off is for a message board so we all can stay in touch. We can build it from there. If anyone has any ideas please let me know.

Thirdly I am missing many addresses. Could someone please forward this on to anyone I am missing.

This weekend I decided to upgrade my 4 web sites/blogs from Word Press hosted to Word Press self hosted. This means I am running the full version of Word Press instead of my Web hosting providers hosted version. As soon as Kelli decides on a them I will be porting hers over as well.

In sports news congradulations goes off to the Stanley Cup champion Pittsburgh Penguins. Pitsburgh defeated Detroit in a 2-1 game 7 thriller last night.

The Markham House League Lacrosse Season is coming to an end. The Day of Champions for the Midget/Intermediate group is this Wednesday night and the rest of the league has their day of champions on Sat June 20th.

It been a couple of weeks since I posted anything. Lacrosse House League is now entering Week 6. We are past the half way point for the 2009 season. The off season will be busy since we need to work on building our association back up.

In terms of Web Pages Changes I have been hard at work. I have moved this blog and my consulting page to new domains as well as added major information to my technology blog. I am also current redesigning our family tree site and this should be well underway sometime tonight. My web sites are as follows:
