Things in good old Toronto have been busy as always:) With me studying for Exams, In Missisauga 2 nights week and work things get a little crazy at times. I sure need my vacation and it is coming at the end of September and I can’t wait.
Lots going on here. I purchased a netbook this week which I absolutely love. It’s an Acer aspire and it sure has taken the weight out of my briefcase:)
I reinstalled my Mom’s old laptop for her as well from scratch. It went yesterday to my brother Gord in Ottawa.
Lot’s in the word of sports going on in Toronto. My Toronto Rock are in the process of retooling. They have new owners, new coaches, new players and soon a new captain:) They made big rebuilding changes and as a result will eventually return to the championship. I can not wait for the season to start:) The NLL better watch out.
The Leafs are also retooling but they probably have another year to see if it makes an impact. Brian Burke is a great GM do not get me wrong but the board of directors at MLSE need to keep their hands out of the pie. They have a habbit of meddling and if they do that will be the end sooner than later.
My Montreal Canadiens are at a Crossroads. They either do something before Christmas or Bob Gainey will be gone. It is that very simple. Another tough year will not cut it.
